Sharma, expelled by Ghaziabad district president Prem Chand Bharti who accused the MLA of indulging in anti-party activities, joined Congress in the presence Uttar Pradesh State congress president Raj Babbar and General Secretary in-charge of the state Ghulam Nabi Azad in Delhi.
While talking to media at his camp office in Rajendra Nagar colony of Sahibabad, Sharma alleged BSP supremo Mayawati of "selling tickets".
He further accused party coordinator Naseemuddin Siddiqui of "bargaining ticket amount".
