arrested today on charges of extracting money from senior Bokaro district officials impersonating as a journalist of a national news channel.
Superintendent of Police, Y S Ramesh, said Ajay Kumar Singh, a resident of Bhabua district of Bihar, allegedly extracted money from officials like Deputy Development Officer and District Transport Officer.
He was taken into custody yesterday, when he was taking photographs of Chas police station lock-up.
Some forged documents were found from the bag of Singh, who was arrested today arrested and forwarded to jail.
