Father-daughter drown in pit

A father-daughter duo drowned when their motorcycle overturned into a rainwater pit near Baisanpurwa village here, police said today.
Santosh Kumar Patel (35) was going with his daughter Saumya (5) last night when he lost balance over his motorcycle which overturned into a roadside rainwater pit, they said.
The locals rushed them to a nearby hospital but they were declared brought dead, police said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
