Fifth edition of Bangalore International Film Festival begins

BIFFES-5 will screen 140 films selected from 50 countries for which a budget of Rs two crore has been sanctioned by the government.

The film festival will screen of films from across the world under various sections including Cinema of the World, Asian Cinema, Kannada Cinema and Retrospectives.

The screening kick-started with Netherland language film 'Cow Boy' and will end with the screening of a Brazilian film 'The clown'.
