Film makers approach HC for anticipatory bail

Two Odia filmmakers, producer Subrat Naik and director Himanshu Parija, today approached the Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bails, following casting couch allegations against them.
While the bail pleas were filed today, the High Court has not taken them up yet.
At least six filmmakers, including Naik and Parija, were earlier issued notices by the Mahila police station of Bhubaneswar to appear before it following casting couch allegations were brought against them by Sharmistha, a female actor of Odia film industry.
