No casualty was reported in the incident.
According to the Delhi Fire Services, they received a call at 9:45 am about a blaze on the sixth floor of Nipun Towers, an office complex.
"With the site being a high-rise, 15 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Since the stairs were filled with smoke, we used snorkel ladders to douse the flames on the sixth floor. No casualty was reported in the incident," said a fire services official.
The blaze was doused by 10:50 AM. Various goods and furniture were found to be gutted in the fire, he said, adding the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
