A fire broke out in the food stalls near the Barrackpore railway station in North 24 Parganas district tonight but there was no report of any casualty, Fire Brigade sources said.
The fire broke out in a food stall at around 8 pm. It spread to other nearby fast food centres as gas cylinders exploded destroying around 19 stalls.
Five fire tenders rushed to spot and brought the fire under control, the sources said.
The cause of the fire was not yet known, they added.
