Fire in canteen godown on Vizag naval base

A fire broke out at one of the main godowns of Naval canteen store at the naval base here this afternoon.
The fire was brought under control soon and nobody was injured, a press release issued by the Eastern Naval Command said.
The Command has set up a board of inquiry to investigate the fire, the release said.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit in the main switchboard of the ground-floor godown.
