Fire in turmeric godown, no casualties

A fire broke out at godown storing turmeric here today, however, no casulaties were reported, police said.
About 20 employees who were sleeping near the turmeric factory ran to safety on seeing the fire.
Fire and Rescue Services personnel doused the fire. The reason for the fire is ascertained, police said.
