Fire knocks out Nashik police's wireless system

A fire in Nashik city police commissioner's office has severely damaged the wireless communication system, police said today.
The fire started because of a short circuit, causing damage to the tune of Rs 42 lakh.
It hit the wireless communication of police in the city. Now the police have switched to headquarters of the Rural Police for a week.
V-sat messaging system, computers and telephones etc were destroyed in the fire.
