Fish sale centre in prison inaugurated

In first of its kind in Tamil Nadu, a fish sale centre was inaugurated at the Central Prison here by DIG, Prisons(Madurai Zone) Mohammed Hanifa.
Speeking at the function, Hanifa said fish rearing, was started with 2,500 fish seedlings there on February 24. Now of them 1500 fishes had been kept for sale. He said, the other things made by the prisoners also had been kept there for sale.
He said that a another centre in the prison for making hand paper pad by paper paste would be opened very shortly, he said.
