Five killed in UP due to rain related incidents

Five persons were killed in rain related incidents in Uttar Pradesh as light to moderate rain occurred at many places over east and western parts of the state.
While a mother-daughter duo were killed in Sonbhadra, three persons, including a couple, died in Jaunpur district since last night, police said.
According to MeT department chief amount of rainfall in cms was Chunar 14; Lalganj, Jaunpur 10 each; Koraon, Madiahu 8 each; Chhatnag, Badlapur 7 each; Allahabad, Gyanpur, Ghorawal, Robertsganj 6 each; Kakat, Bara, Azamgarh and Jalesar 5 each.
The weatherman has forecast rain or thundershower at many places in east UP and heavy rain at isolated places over the state in the next 24 hours.
