Talking to reporters along with leaders of the constituents of the new front here, Viswanathan said the front had been named as "Joint Front for Welfare of People of Puducherry" and very soon a detailed action plan would be released.
Viswanathan said that it had been seen that the country had been held to ransom by "corrupt and anti people administration by the NDA rule at the Centre". The policies the previous Congress regime had adopted were being 'adhered to in letter and spirit' by the Narendra Modi led government.
He said that neither the DMK nor the AIADMK had been able to measure up to the expectations of the people while being in power and the new front would train its guns against these two dravidian parties also.
