The police this morning raided various places in Barasat area and seized huge amount of banned fire crackers.
They loaded the seized fire crackers in a jeep and took it to the Habra Police Station.
As the jeep entered the compound of the police station, the fire crackers exploded and injured the police personnel, a senior district police officer said.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
