Special Relief Commissioner B P Sethi said there was no more flood fear as the water level in Brahmani river have significantly receded.
"The situation in Jajpur and Kendrapada district has returned to normalcy," Sethi said.
Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Maheswar Mohanty and Women and Child Development Minister Prafulla Samal visited the flood affected areas of Jajpur and Kendrapara districts respectively.
Samal said, "I will recommend immediate relief materials for the people struggling for survival in Kendrapara district."
About two lakh people in 36 gram panchayats of Kendrapara district continued to remain marooned since four days.
Health measures for both human and cattle have been strengthened in the affected areas. Twenty-four medical relief centres have been opened and eight medical teams deployed in flood affected areas of Jajpur district.
Out of 2,813 affected wells, 673 have been disinfected. Fourteen veterinary camps have been opened with 17 veterinary doctors and 20 para veterinary personnel and 1,282 animals treated and 3,350 vaccinations done.
Additional 75 MT of cattle feed has been sanctioned for Jajpur district. Previously, 50 MT cattle feed was provided to Jajpur district and another 50 MT to Balasore district.
Cooked food has been provided through free kitchens to 2,397 people in eight centres of Bari and Korei Blocks today. Restoration work of the Brahmani left embankment which was breached on 29th at Bankasahi in Bari Block is in full swing, the SRC said.
