Party general secretary Anil Jain said they wanted 5 crore women, especially from poor background, covered under the schemes to push social welfare initiatives across the country.
Jain, who is in the nine-member committee formed by the party to publicise such schemes, said their campaign had been a "big success". He, however, added that the party was not paying premiums for the beneficiaries and was only helping them enrol for these schemes.
Raksha Bandhan is to be observed on August 29.
