For Randeep and Deepak, there's no competition with 'Te3n'

Randeep Hooda's upcoming film "Do Lafzon Ki Kahani" will clash with megastar Amitabh Bachchan starrer "Te3n", but director Deepak Tijori feels there is no sense of competition between the two movies.
Directed by Tijori, "Do Lafzon Ki Kahani" stars Randeep and actress Kajal Aggarwal. The film is scheduled to release on June 10, same date as "Te3n", which also stars, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan.
When asked if there is any apprehension regarding the clash, Tijori told reporters here, "That film obviously carries a lot of weight. The film has stalwarts. We definitely respect them. I think there is enough screen space for both the films. There is no issue of competition."

The "Sarbjit" star is also unfazed by the clash and says both the films will find its audience.
"All the best to them. They're very different films. They will find their different audience," Randeep said.
"Do Lafzon Ki Kahani" is a romantic-drama, based on 2011 Korean film "Always".

Tijori, who previously helmed "Tom Dick and Harry", said there is a pressure while remaking a film as a director needs to adapt it according to the Indian sensibilities.
"There is an added pressure while remaking a film, that it shouldn't look a copy of the original. We get inspired and adapt it. There is a difference between their emotions and our Indian emotions," he said.

"So we had to do a lot of work, change a lot of things in this movie. When you watch the film you will realise. It's a lovely adaptation," Tijori added.
In the film, Randeep, 39, will be seen doing Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), while Kajal will feature as a blind girl.
Last year, Akshay Kumar's "Brothers" had MMA in the backdrop. When asked about the similarities, Tijori said, "We were all worried, in fact when the trailers (of Brothers) were coming out we were kind of paranoid."
"So we did go and see Brothers. After watching the film I was very relaxed and not at all worried. It was entirely a different ball game the way they have gone about it and we have," he added.

Randeep said their film is essentially a love story which the young generation will connect with.
"Brothers became a film about fighting. Ours is not about that, it is a love story... We are safe from brothers and sisters here," he quipped.
