The man, identified as Brijesh from Nawalgarh of Jhunjhunu district, was recently arrested in Delhi in connection with the robbery of jewellery worth Rs 9 crore from the IIFL gold loan company here last November, police commissioner Bhupendra Dad said here.
Three pistols, 31 live cartridges and a luxury bike were seized from his possession, he added.
"After thoroughly investigating the robbery we identified some criminal of the Shekhawati region of the state. And zeroed in on Brijesh in Delhi and arrested him," he said.
Brijesh along with six others conducted the robbery, he said, adding, that his accomplices identified as Sanjay Singh (a screening coordinator at the IGI airport), one Manish Bajia (engineer), Surendra Meel, Rakesh Meen, Mandeep Dhaka, Rajveer Charki have being located and would soon be nabbed.
