Four arrested with fake currency notes

Four persons hailing from Malda district in West Bengal were arrested in Karaikudi in this district and seized from them fake currency notes valued at Rs 11,000, police said today.
On a tip off, that some strangers had exchanged one thousand rupee note at a petrol bunk, police arrested them and seized the fake currency notes.
Anohter person managed to esape, police said.
All the arrested were remanded to judicial custody, police said.
