Four dead as train knocks down rickshaw at unmanned crossing

Four persons, including a five-year-old girl, were killed and eight injured when a speeding train rammed into their auto-rickshaw at an unmanned railway crossing near Bhadroda village in Gandhinagar district today, police said.
The mishap occurred when the auto-rickshaw was crossing the tracks and the train ploughed through it, police sub-inspector K D Prajapati said, adding all the victims died on the spot.
The deceased were identified as Nagin Devipujak (46), Jakshi Devipujak (35), who was driving the vehicle, Ranjit Devipujak (35) and Priyanka Devipujak (5), all residents of Pardhol village near Gandhinagar.
