Four gangsters decamp with over Rs eight lakh

Four members of a gang today managed to snatch away an amount of over Rs 8 lakh from employees of a weaving company when the latter was returning from a bank withrawing cash to be paid as salaries to workers.
Two employees of a weaving company had withdrawn Rs 8.38 lakh from the Corporation Bank here to pay monthly salary to the workers, police said.
When they were returning to their office with the cash, the four, members of a gand, blocked their way and thrashed them and snatched the amount.
The victims were admitted to a nearby health centre and further investigations are on, police said.
