Four including two sisters drown in pond

Four persons, including two teenaged sisters, drowned in a pond in a paddy field at nearby Kozhinjambara today.
The deceased have been identified as Pavithra (14) and Sumithra (11), the siblings, and their neighbors Dharanya (20) and Karthik (26), all residents of Menonpara here, police said.
The mishap occurred when they were taking bath in the pond, they said.
Police and fire force recovered the bodies.
