P Kishan Chand, candidate of the Janata Dal (U)which is an alliance partner in UDF, has been discharged after treatment for injuries suffered in the accident while three others, who were seriously injured, have been admitted to the Malabar Institute of Medical Science at Kozhikode, police said.
The occupants of the car were returning from Guruvayur temple while the lorry was proceeding in the opposite direction when the accident occurred this morning, they said.
