The incident happened last evening in Marki village in Zari tehsil.
The injured were fist admitted to a rural hospital and later to the government medical college here as anti-rabis vaccine was not available at the village facility.
The farmers are identified as Vinod Anatrao Dhengle (35), Premraj Uddhav Paighan (25), Uddhav Shivram Paigan (50) and Sudhakar Pundlik Kolhe (27), said divisional forest officer A.P. Giripunje.
He said a woman was plucking cotton in the field when she spotted the big cat and raised an alarm, following which the labourers rushed to her help and tried to scare away the feline but it attacked them.
The area falls in the vicinity of Tipeshwar tiger sanctuary, Giripunje said.
