Four persons were killed and three others seriously injured when an SUV carrying them was hit by a speedy truck near Kasimpur on the Banda-Tanda national highway in Amethi district, police said.
The four passengers travelling in the SUV, including the driver, were killed after it was hit by a speedy truck, Station House Officer (Jais) Ravindra Singh said.
The three, who were seriously injured, were rushed to a trauma centre (Lucknow) after a primary treatment at a district hospital in Raebareli, the officer added.
