The girl had gone to ease herself in the fields in village Narau Veernagarin Kotwali Jalesar on Friday night, when one Sintoo of the village, along with three others, harassed her and tried to outrage her modesty, police said.
Hearing the shrieks of the victim, here uncle Udham Singh reached there and resisted the men's misbehaviour. Then Sintoo and his three associates assaulted Singh with sticks.
Injured Singh has been admitted to a hospital, and a FIR has been lodged in connection with the incient, under section 354 and 323 of the IPC, police said, adding, no arrest has been made so far.
