Four of family killed as truck rams into bike in MP

A couple and their two children were killed when a truck hit their bike on Indore-Ahmedabad National Highway in the district this morning, police said.
"The family was returning from Ghatabillod village in Dhar district when the speeding truck hit their motorcycle at Kalsada village on Indore-Ahmedabad highway," sub-divisional police officer Kailash Patidar said.
Three of the victims -- identified as Shobharam (44), his wife Kalabai (38) and one of their sons Ayush (10) -- died on the spot.
The couple's younger son, Akash (8), died on way to hospital, he said.
The family members, who resided in Bhanwarkua village of Dhar, were returning home when the accident occurred at around 6 AM.

"We have sent the bodies for post-mortem. We are searching for the truck driver who fled from the spot in his vehicle," Patidar said.
