Superintendent of Police Akash Megharia said police arrested four persons moving suspiciously in a vehicle from Alipurduar junction-Kalibari area last night.
Police seized a gun, some ammunition and knives from them, the SP said, adding that police was interrogating them to find out whether they had any links with any militant organisation.
In another incident, a suspected rhino poacher was arrested by police from Jaigaon area of the district and arms and ammunition were seized from his possession last night, Megharia added.
