Four residential structures gutted

Four residential structures housing 15 families were gutted at Karpora locality near the tourist spot of Cheshmashahi in the city, police said today.
Fire broke out in one of the residential structures in the wee hours today and quickly spread to adjoining structures, they said.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control.
There was no report of any casualty, police said.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir branch of Indian Red Cross Society distributed relief material among the affected families whose houses were damaged.
Each family was given Rs 5,000 out of Red Cross fund, three blankets each and kitchen sets, besides items of daily use.
