Four robbers arrested in Faridabad

Police today claimed to have resolved seven cases of theft with the arrest of four persons in Faridabad, an official said.
Kuldip Singh, in charge, Crime Branch police station in Sector 24 said a team led by Sub Inspector Jagbir nabbed three of the accused on January 24 when they were planning to rob commuters on the Surajkund-Pali road and illegal arms were recovered from them.
The fourth accused was arrested yesterday, he said.
The accused, identified as Amir Jan, Umar Ali, Sakir and Mahesh, have confessed to their crime saying that they used to commit robbery in areas like old Faridabad, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Nagar and Nangla Enclave, police said.
