Four SBI subsidiaries making profits

Four subsidiaries have made decent profits amounting to Rs 1,452 crore in FY'14, representing a 25.4 per cent rise over Rs 1,158 crore in FY'13.
SBI Life Insurance Company posed a net profit of Rs 740 crore in FY14 (Rs 622 crore), SBI Capital Makets at Rs 263 crore (Rs 314 crore), SBI Funds Management at Rs 156 crore (Rs 86 crore) and SBI Cards and Payment Services at Rs 293 crore (Rs 136 crore).
The five associate banks of SBI posted a lower net profit of Rs 2777 crore in FY14 from Rs 3678 crore in FY13, SBI said in a statement here today.
