Four-year old drowns
today drowned after falling into a pond in Assam's Kamrup (Rural) district, the police said.
The girl fell into the pond at Madhukuchi under Rangiya police station while she was playing and died immediately.
The body of the child, identified as Priyanka Devi, was later recovered by local people, sources said.
