Four youths feared drowned in Andhra

Four youths, who had gone for swimming with a group of 15, are feared drowned in the Bay of Bengal off Gullalamoda beach in Krishns district today, police said.
"The mishap occurred when a group of 15 youngsters from Vijayawada ventured into sea at Gullalamoda beach for a swim. Four among them are feared to have been washed away," said Krishna district SP Vijayakumar.
On receipt of information, police launched a search operation with the help of local swimmers and fishermen, who were also joined by Marine Police.
However, the youths could not be traced so far.
They are identified as V Lashmana Rao, G Anilkumar, R Laxmana Rao and R Ramesh (all in their 20s).

A case has been registered in connection with the incident.
