Fox moves Ridley Scott's 'The Martian' to October

Ridley Scott's much-awaited upcoming drama "The Martian", which was originally slated for November 25 release, has been preponed to October 2.
Fox has swapped dates of "The Martian" and "Victor Frankenstein", which will now open on Novemvber 25, said The Hollywood Reporter.
While "The Martian" stars Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain, "Victor Frankenstein" will see James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe in lead roles.
"The Martian" will see competition from Warner Bros' Peter Pan film, titled "Pan" and Universal's "Steve Jobs" - both will open a week later.
