The 45-year-old actor plays a nerdy engineer Max Dillon in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" who gets struck by lightning while working on a power line and transforms in super villain 'Electro' reported Sun Online.
The actor was spotted at the sets of the film in New York hiding his looks under a comb-over and goofy fake gnashers.
Foxx was snapped on sets last week in glittery blue bodypaint.
The film, directed by Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield as the webcasting superhero, will release in 2014.
