Fracas near gurdwara in UK, three held

Three men have been arrested on public disorder and assault offences after a brawl outside a gurdwara in the east of England.
Witnesses reported around 10 worshippers at a weekly Sunday service at the Gurdwara Shri Guru Ram Das Prakash on Old Palace Road in Norwich involved in the fracas.
Local police in the Norfolk county town have ruled out any racist motivation behind the incident.
Two men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of public order offences and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to Great Yarmouth.

"Officers were called to a Sikh temple on Old Palace Road at about 2.15 pm following reports of a loud verbal argument in the street. It is thought around 10 people were involved.

"No weapons were involved and no one has been seriously injured or has needed hospital treatment," a Norfolk Constabulary spokesperson said.
"Inquiries continue into the incident as police try to establish the circumstances relating to the disorder.
"However, police can confirm that there is no indication of any racist motivation to the incident," he added.
One witness told the local 'Eastern Daily Press' that he heard screaming and then saw around eight police cars "approaching from all over the place".

The gurdwara was set up back in 2010 when the local Sikh community converted a former furniture store into a Sikh temple.
