The alleged fraudsters got in touch with the gullible youths after accessing their resume from job search engines and promised them a job in Tata company.
The incident came to light after officials from Tata gave a complaint to Delhi Police commissioner B S Bassi that some people were duping people on the pretext of getting them job in the company.
Following the complaint, a case was registered in the Economic Offences Wing.
"Such incidents are common now a days. A similar fraud was earlier unearthed by us where unemployed youths were duped in the name of Maruti. We have registered a case and efforts are on to nab the culprits," a police official said.
