'Game of Thrones' star Aidan Gillen in 'Maze Runner' sequel

Aidan Gillen, who plays manipulative character of Littlefinger on 'Game of Thrones', has been cast as a villain in the just-announced sequel to 'The Maze Runner'.
Gillen, 46, will play Janson in 'Maze Runner: Scorch Trials'. His character becomes the main antagonist of the Maze Runner books. He is also referred to as Rat-Man, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is due to begin shooting at the end of October. Ball is back for the sequel as are the producers, Temple Hill Entertainment and the Gotham Group. Lead Dylan O'Brien is also back.
'The Maze Runner' was an adaptation of the James Dashner's 2009 novel of the same name.
