The stock ended the day 8.03 per cent higher at Rs 16.15 on the BSE. During the day, it rallied 15.91 per cent to Rs 17.33.
At the NSE, it climbed 8.70 per cent to settle at Rs 16.25.
Led by the gain in the stock, the company's market value rose by Rs 113.6 crore to Rs 1,516.60 crore.
Gammon Infrastructure had on Saturday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 5.98 crore for the third quarter of 2014-15 on lower finance costs.
Total income of the company rose to Rs 253 crore in the quarter, from Rs 139 crore a year earlier. Expenses also rose to Rs 175 crore during the period from Rs 100 crore a year ago period.
