They were arrested yesterday evening in a joint operation by SWAT team and local police from near a flyover of Ajhai cut on NH 2 falling under Vrindaban police station.
"They have confessed to murdering a widower named Radha who was to get Rs 40 lakh from the government. They were paid Rs 8 lakh by Radha's brother-in-law Anil alias Tota for the murder," SP City Alok Priyadarshi.
Those arrested have been identified as Monu Sharma, Tejpal, Jagveer and Ramveer.
However, Anil and one Hari are still absconding. The hunt for them is on," said Priyadarshi.
