Gang of robbers busted in Punjab

Police today claimed to have busted a gang of robbers with the arrest of five persons and recovered five stolen motorcycles from their possession.
Acting on a tip off, police raided the back side of Dhawan Palace here where the gang members were planning a major strike, police said.
The robbers used to steel motorcycles in Moga area and then sell them in other towns and cities by putting fake number plates on the vehicles, they said.
Police has registered a case in this connection and further investigation is on.
