During the vehicle checking drive on the Khammam-Warangal state highway, a lorry carrying bananas was found suspicious and intercepted at Thorrur, Thorrur Circle Inspector Sridhar Rao said.
The seized ganja is worth Rs 4 crore. After this, 165 bags containing 24 kg ganja each were found, Rao said, adding that the lorry was coming from Tanuku and carrying the contraband to Delhi.
Four persons - S Srinu, Durga Prasad, R Suresh and Satish were apprehended and during interrogation they confessed to the crime, sub-Inspector Subba Reddy said.
