Gas agency manager held for illegally selling LPG cylinders

The manager of a gas agency has been arrested for allegedly illegally selling LPG cylinders in Sion area, a senior police official said Thursday.

The accused, who runs a gas agency in Sion, allegedly used to get Hindustan Petroleum's LPG cylinders in the name of different people and sell them illegally, he said.

Acting on specific information, the police raided the gas agency Wednesday and nabbed its manager, Keol Das Nadar, the official said.

During interrogation, the accused admitted to his crime, the official said, adding further investigation was underway.
