"Existing Bharat Scout and Guide is an international body and to run a parallel institution is an indication of cheap mentality, which is most unfortunate to degrade existing one," Gehlot, the former President of Bharat Scouts and Guides, said in a statement here.
"For the first time, 17th National Jumboori will be held in Jaipur in January 2016 for which my government had given a grant of Rs seven crore, but the Raje government has cancelled it at her level," Gehlot claimed.
The existing Scouts and Guides body is a century-old, non-political and free institution for physical and moral development of school boys and girls, and to erase it, the Raje government made a very disgusting attempt by creating the parallel body which has no sanctity, Gehlot added.
