Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot today hit out at Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for shifting the deadlines for the much-delayed Delhi-Jaipur Expressway, which was earlier scheduled to be completed by June.
Gehlot said, "By continuously changing the deadline of NH8 Jaipur-Delhi Expressway -- first from March 25 to June 3 and then September -- Gadkari has showed that the NDA government has failed to deal with the hurdles."
He also demanded that the state government pay proper attention to the potable water crisis that has assumed alarming proportions in Jodhpur city.
