Girl alleges rape by duo

A girl has accused her lover and his
55-year-old accomplice of raping her after offering a drink laced with sedatives in Kishorepura area here, police said today.
"The 21-year-old victim has alleged in her complaint filed yesterday that she was offered a drink laced with sedatives and then raped in a car by her lover Junaid (26) and Razaaq (55) on December 28 last year," Deputy SP Rajendra Ojha said.
Then on January 1, Junaid enacted a marriage set up in a hotel and raped her. He fled from the hotel room next morning, he said, adding, Razaaq kept on telling her not to file a complaint on pretext of convincing Junaid to marry her.

The victim also told in her complaint that she was recently threatened on knife point by four youths to avoid reporting the matter to police else she will be killed, Ojha said.
A case has been registered against the two accused who are absconding, he added.
