A section of the media had reported that Patnaik was ill and planning to go abroad for treatment. However, Patnaik had rejected the reports and said that he was in good health and not going anywhere for treatment.
Patnaik had earlier tweeted "Always happy to be at Parliament & see @bjd_Odisha MPs for follow-up of #Odisha's interests; glad to meet @Mamataofficial in Central Hall.
