Amutharasu had sent messages, including to media and some police officials on WhatsApp well in advance on the October 11 surrender of Yuvaraj before Crime Branch CID.
Amutarasu was arrested yesterday and the Chief Judicial Magistrate Malarmathi had remanded him to 15 days judicial custody.
Yuvraj was on the run after a local court here had issued an arrest warrnat against him in October 5 in connection with the murder in June.
On September 18, DSP Vishnu Priya who was investigating the murder case allegedly committed suicide in her residence-cum office complex.
Her father and one of her batchmates had levelled charges of harassment by her superiors in against her in connection with the inquiry in the Gokulraj murder case.
