Around 3 kg of gold and 30 kg of silver ornaments were found stolen when the owner of SB Jewellers opened the shop this afternoon, ACP Kotwali Rajneesh Punia told PTI here.
The robbers broke the wall from the backside of a dilapidated building and entered into the shop last night probably, Punia said, adding that they also took away the CCTV system with them.
A case of theft has been registered with the Kotwali police station, and a search for the culprits by a police team is underway. Sniffer dogs and forensic experts were also called to collect samples of intruders and their activities, the ACP said.
