Goldie Hawn didn't read her new film's script for one year
Press Trust of India London Veteran actress Goldie Hawn says she did not read the script of her new film with Amy Schumer for one year.
The 70-year-old actress, however, did meet her co-star Schumer a number of times before saying yes to the mother-daughter film, reported Female First.
"By the way, I didn't read the script until a year later," Hawn said.
Hawn said she was not persuaded to accept the role by Schumer and she was honoured to work with the 35-year-old.
"She (Amy) didn't persuade me. But she did talk to me about it. She said she would really love for me to be in her movie. I was very obviously honoured, she's so adorable. And I thought I'd be a good mum for her. It was very funny.
"She (Amy) is crazy, but that is why I love her.
